In a move towards the proliferation of clean energy solutions, Array Technologies (Array), a dealer in utility-scale solar tracking solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Aluminum Products Company (ALUPCO), a prominent aluminum extrusion company based in the Middle East and North African region (MENA).

The partnership represents a fusion of expertise, innovation, and local influence poised to drive the future of renewable energy in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.

Array CEO, Kevin G Hostetler, stressed upon the company’s commitment to the global clean energy market, highlighting the shared values of simplicity, reliability, and decades-long experience that characterize both organizations.

ALUPCO CEO, Khaled Abdel-Moneim, also expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Array and emphasising their joint dedication to excellence, performance, and sustainability. The partnership was formally acknowledged at the second Private Sector Forum held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where business leaders and policymakers convened to discuss the pivotal role of the private sector in the Kingdom’s economic diversification efforts.

It may be noted that Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 aims at a strategic shift towards innovation, technology, and sustainable solutions, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy. Furthermore, the Kingdom aims to add 20 gigawatts of renewable energy annually, targeting a total of 130 gigawatts by 2030, as articulated by Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.

Headquartered in Dammam and a plant in Jeddah, ALUPCO has a formidable presence across MENA. The Array-ALUPCO partnership symbolises a collaborative effort to shape a more sustainable and resilient future for the region. With this partnership, both companies are poised to contribute significantly to the evolution of the energy landscape in the Middle East and beyond.
