Ningbo Deye ESS International Trading Co., Ltd. has received certification as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) from China Customs. This status confirms that the company meets customs requirements for trade compliance, internal controls, financial management, and cargo safety.
The certification gives Deye access to a set of customs facilitation measures. These include priority in customs processing, fewer inspections, and faster clearance. It also reduces customs-related costs. China Customs has introduced 17 new policies to support AEO-certified companies, adding to the 28 policies already in place.
Deye, now recognized under international AEO agreements, will receive customs benefits when trading with countries that have mutual recognition with China. These benefits include expedited processing, lower inspection rates, and quicker handling of customs issues. The company may also receive customs priority in case of trade disruptions.
In addition to trade-related improvements, local customs offices and regional governments may offer their own support programs to AEO companies. These can include fast-track services and simplified procedures across departments.
Deye is a wholly owned subsidiary of Deye ESS. With this certification, the company expects to manage its global shipments more efficiently and respond faster to international customers. The certification also helps reduce delays across supply chains.
Apart from Asia, in the Middle East, other smaller-scale renewable energy activities are progressing. In Bahrain, a pilot rooftop solar program is being managed by the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs. Ten government buildings are participating, each with a solar array between 30 and 50 kilowatts. This is part of a distributed solar energy testing initiative.
In Jordan, the Ministry of Energy has launched a solar irrigation pilot in the Al-Karak region. It uses a hybrid system with small battery storage and solar modules totaling 10 kilowatts to power pumps for agriculture.
