The establishment of GSIAEP through the partnership between AEPCo Jordan and GSI combines the regional expertise and resources of AEPCo Jordan, a member of Kuwait’s KIPCO Group, with the local development, contracting, and investment capabilities of GSI. Together, they aim to lead the way in solar projects in the region, driving sustainability and fostering competitiveness.

Dr. Hassan Qasem, CEO of AEPCo Jordan, underscores the partnership’s long-term commitment to Jordan’s solar market. By joining forces with GSI, AEPCo Jordan seeks to solidify its presence and strategy in the region, leveraging the expertise of local developers to enhance its market position.

Engineer Maher Farraj, CEO of GSI, echoes this sentiment by emphasizing the synergies between the two entities. With AEPCo Jordan’s regional know-how and GSI’s track record in solar project development, finance, and management, the partnership is well-positioned to establish a robust platform for solar initiatives in Jordan.

As Jordan emerges as a mature solar market in the MENA region, GSIAEP aims to leverage this expertise to promote sustainable energy solutions. By empowering commercial and industrial sectors to adopt renewable energy alternatives, the partnership not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also enhances businesses’ competitive edge by reducing operational costs and carbon emissions.

However, the collaboration between AEPCo Jordan and GSI represents a strategic alignment of expertise and resources to drive forward the adoption of solar energy in Jordan. With a focus on long-term sustainability and competitiveness, GSIAEP is poised to make significant contributions to the region’s energy landscape.
