Al Habtoor Group, a UAE based conglomerate firm has announced a strategic partnership with SirajPower, the region’s distributed solar energy provider, to deliver large-scale solar installations across eight projects of the Al-Habtoor group in the UAE.
SirajPower has recently installed a 2.8MWp solar project for Habtoor Motors, and will also be providing its fully integrated solar solutions to seven additional projects under the Group.
The combined capacity of these eight projects will exceed 5.7MWp and expected to produce 9,500MWh of clean energy annually. This will enable Al Habtoor Group to expand more sustainably while conserving energy and leaving a smaller carbon impact.

It was further informed that the first phase of the solar project for Habtoor Motors, comprising 2.8 MWp of capacity, has been successfully commissioned and is now operating with clean energy. In addition, the second phase of the project, consisting of seven additional projects will be coming up soon.
Expressing his views on this, Abdulghaffar Hussain, Founder of the Green Coast Group of Companies, said that it will enable another regional powerhouse to grow more sustainably while reducing their energy consumption and reducing their environmental impact. This partnership, he added that, is in line with its efforts to align with the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, which aims to reduce the country’s dependence on fossil fuels while increasing the use of renewable energy sources throughout the country.
Hussain further informed that the partnership illustrates the growing demand for renewable energy in the UAE and the trust that leading businesses have placed in SirajPower to provide reliable and cost-effective solutions.
SirajPower holds the largest distributed solar energy portfolio of more than 100 MWp. SirajPower plans to install, commission, maintain, and operate other subsidiaries of Al Habtoor Group, thus contributing in UAE’s vision of becoming carbon-negative by 2050.
