Saudi’s Hydrogen Systems, an innovation-driven firm in the hydrogen technology sector, has been awarded a contract by Shell Development Oman (Oman Shell) to design, develop and install Oman’s first hydrogen refueling station. As per the contract, Hydrogen Systems will carry out the detailed engineering, procurement, quality assurance and control (Factory Acceptance Test) of electrolysers, compression, storage, chilling and dispensing. The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan Al-Marshad, has entered into a fresh development loan pact valued at $77 million with Belize’s Prime Minister, John Briceño. Sineng Electric Europe has joined hands with Turkish renewable energy firm Arkensus Energy Ltd. Co.,  which will give an impetus to advancing solar PV utility-scale and commercial projects in Turkey. The neighbouring regions will also benefit from this partnership. Together, the two firms recently commissioned a 18 MW solar project, in which, Şanlıurfa Büyükşehir Belediyesi Su Kanalizasyon İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü was the investor. US beverage giant PepsiCo Inc’s SodaStream will make its products in Israel using 100% renewable energy under a power off-take deal with Israel’s Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd. In a statement, the PepsiCo subsidiary said that the RE developer will provide SodaStream with electricity from its solar and battery storage facilities. Israel’s SolarEdge Technologies has tied up with the Saudi firm, Ajlan & Bros (ABH) Holding in Riyadh. Established in 2006, SolarEdge Technologies Inc., will jointly work with the Saudi firm towards deploying renewable energy in the kingdom.
