The inaugural Saudi Electricity Expo, scheduled from November 26-28 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre, heralds a pivotal moment for Saudi Arabia’s energy landscape. Organized by Tahaluf, the event aims to catalyze the Kingdom’s ambitious energy transformation in alignment with Vision 2030 objectives. With a goal to derive 50% of its power from renewables by 2030, the expo emerges as a strategic platform to foster innovation, sustainability, and economic prosperity.

The main highlight of the expo’s mission is its comprehensive showcase of cutting-edge technologies, products, and services across diverse segments of the electricity industry. Six distinct product sectors will spotlight innovations in electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and management. From clean energy solutions encompassing solar, wind, and hydro-electricity to energy storage, green hydrogen, and electric vehicles, the expo promises a comprehensive overview of the sector’s latest advancements.

In parallel, the event’s robust knowledge program offers a deep dive into critical industry themes. Industry conferences, workshops, and seminars will explore vital topics ranging from investment and innovation to grid efficiencies and the transition to low-carbon energy. Attendees can anticipate insights on forging partnerships, localizing research and development, and navigating the evolving energy landscape amidst surging power demands.

Moreover, the expo features exclusive components designed to facilitate strategic dialogue and networking. A closed-door Leadership Forum will convene senior executives vested in Saudi Arabia’s energy transition, fostering high-level discussions on pivotal issues shaping the sector. VIP and hosted buyers’ programs will bolster public-private partnerships, while industry hubs focusing on power systems, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and trade will serve as focal points for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

With an anticipated turnout of over 100,000 industry professionals and participation from 800 exhibiting companies and 125 expert speakers, the Saudi Electricity Expo is poised to be a premier rendezvous for energy stakeholders. Attendees will play a pivotal role in shaping Saudi Arabia’s power landscape while exploring lucrative business prospects in the burgeoning energy ecosystem.

Driven by Informa’s powerhouse division of energy events and Tahaluf’s strategic partnership with key stakeholders, the expo represents a cornerstone in Saudi Arabia’s journey towards energy sustainability and resilience. As the Kingdom charts a course towards a diversified, low-carbon energy mix, the Saudi Electricity Expo stands as a beacon of progress, innovation, and collaboration in the global energy arena.
